TIPS ON CUTTING:

✿ I hand-cut all the printables you see in my shop. So you don’t need any special tools, just a good pair of scissors and a bit of time.

✿ Some sets may look detailed and a little daunting at first, particularly the larger ones. But cutting by hand gives you more control and makes your projects feel more personal and unique. Some sets can also be a nice activity to do with your kids, as long as they’re supervised and safe.

✿ Cutting can be relaxing and enjoyable for the whole family. It’s also a great way for kids to build fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and creativity.

✿ Most of my printables are foldable and easy to bring along. I designed them to be simple so kids can take part in the making, turning it into a fun shared activity.

✿ For larger sets, it helps to cut a little at a time rather than trying to finish it all in one go. You can set a timer, or cut while listening to music, a podcast, or an audiobook. Many of the sets here take around 1 to 2 hours to cut.

✿ You can also turn cutting into a learning moment. For example, while cutting out a bear, talk with your kids about where bears live, what they eat, and how they hibernate. It’s a lovely way to make crafting more engaging and educational.

✿ To make the folds neater, use an old ballpoint pen (that’s run out of ink) to score the lines before folding. It leaves a light mark that helps guide the fold more cleanly.
