I love this beautiful necklace!
My lifelong fascination with jewelry
Growing up I was lucky to have parents who were passionate about adventure and travel. They started me at a young age and the place that always ranked #1 on our favorite places to visit was the local museum.
I found myself drawn to the jewelry, especially jewelry that included gemstones. There is so much history and folklore surrounding gemstones and their use in jewelry design that I once I started learning about it I was mesmerized, and hooked.
My passion for jewelry has always been a part of my life, but took a back seat to being a wife, mother and business woman for many years. Now that my children are grown I am experiencing a second childhood of sorts and have dived in head first. I have become a student again taking classes in jewelry design, metal work, lapidary and polymer clay creation just to name a few, I’m happy to say that it’s been unbelievably wonderful to see my dreams come back to life.
My design inspirations come from collections that I have experienced all over the world, but I have to confess that my real love are pieces that were created in Elizabethan England, the Victorian era and the Art Deco period.
When using gemstones I create each piece to bring out not only the beauty of the stones, but I also keep in mind the influences they are said to convey.
Each piece in my collection contains a spark of my essence and adventures as well as the influences of the gemstone it contains.
Elegant, simple and always unique designs that whisper the secrets of times long past. I hope you enjoy what you find here, I have created these pieces just for you.
