Laura did an outstanding job on my custom order request. we lost our souvenir ornament from Paris so I reached out to Laura after seeing her macaroons in her shop. she created custom macaroon ornaments for me and they are a perfect addition to our collection. she was kind and attentive with my request. From time to time I like to create intricate and in depth artworks inspired by my passions & my notions stash.

Behind Stray from the Line

I have always had a strong love affair for art and design, and textiles.

I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to receive formal training for traditional hand embroidery at the Royal School of Needlework, where I undertook a three-year apprenticeship. There, I was taught over sixty different embroidery techniques and styles, including textile restoration. I graduated in 2005, with not only a diploma but with an Award from the Worshipful Company of Gold & Silver Wyre Drawers for a goldwork project undertaken in my second year.

Since graduating I have gained valuable work experience at Philip Treacy’s London Studio, Lulu Guinness head office. I have also had the privilege to undertake several private commissions and have also worked alongside a freelance film and TV costumier on various projects, private clients, stage and screen.

Today, I design and make original art pieces, unique home décor and now expanding into a range of kits and digital patterns.
