Hi Everyone, my name is Lauren and I’m from the beautiful state of Maine. Every summer since I was a young girl we would head to my grandparents house on the coast of Maine and that’s where my love of nature began. I started collecting rocks, flowers, shells, and really anything I could fit in my pocket. Now many years later, I still find myself picking up anything I find intriguing and unique; whether it be a stone on the ground or a mushroom on a tree....and that’s where it started . The first mushroom on a tree I found was so interesting that I wanted to find another and another, and soon after it was all I thought about. Mushrooms. I started to learn about mushrooms and other natural medicines, and how important these wonders in nature I could forage would help to heal and maintain my body for a healthier me. Its been an ongoing learning experience for the past 6 years and I’ve been self taught on making tinctures and crafting different recipes for health products for the past 3 years.
