WELCOME TO THE ROSE ROOMS, AN ENCHANTING SHABBY PINK HAVEN FILLED WITH BEAUTY AND ROMANCE!
The Rose Rooms is a little pink haven-house where fluffy well-fed kittens nap on velvet cushioned antique chairs and the scents of fresh brewed coffee, fragrant teas, and rose water permeate the air. Vintage cherubs, milk glass vases filled with freshly cut roses, heart shaped boxes, and tiny porcelain bird and feline figurines decorate the French pink candle lit rooms. Outside, roses from decades old bushes grow in a variety of colors next to moss covered angel statues and butterflies and fairies dally through a lush maze of wildflowers. Wild songbirds drink from the birdbaths and fishponds and nest in the abundant trees.
Beauty, Romance, Grace, Kindness, and Civility reign supreme at The Rose Rooms. The simple pleasures of life are enjoyed and life is valued.
The Rose Rooms Shop is a way of life, a state of mind, and a store nestled in cyber space that is always open to all . . . and all are always welcome.
Enter and be enchanted . . . .

By the peonies,
a black haired fairy rests
nestled in pink blooms

the fairy’s light flickering

a cabbage fly dashes through
the maze of pink blooms

REGARDING SALES HERE AT http://www.theroserooms.etsy.com: The majority of any profits from sales goes towards our Backyard Wildlife Habitat project. Upon purchasing our home in 2000, we worked to create a small backyard wildlife sanctuary for the dwindling wildlife in our region. Our backyard is officially certified by the National Wildlife Federation. (ID Number: 35738.) Using sustainable gardening techniques, we have been able to create a wildlife sanctuary that provides wildlife with food, water, cover, and places to raise young.
(For more information about starting your own Backyard Wildlife Habitat project, please visit: http://www.nwf.org/gardenforwildlife/create.cfm.)
We also care for the stray/feral cats near our home. All seven of our cats (and all the cats that we have ever had in our lifetime) are rescued-cats.
