This calla lily pendant is amazing!! This pendant is so realistic looking except for the fact that it is a steampunk lily. The spandix looks like an octopus tentacle covered in small, circular faux screws with gears attached to it. The seller was able to make the petal of the flower as thin as a real petal and that consistency was maintained around the entire flower. I love that the seller added faux screws to the area where the lily overlaps itself and it looks as if these screws are holding the flower petals together. And the wood-grain look only adds to the steampunk-y attitude of this lily. I love this pendant and only wish that I had lilies that looked like this one growing in my front yard. The workmanship is exceptional! The wood-grain appearance is consistent throughout the flower and was a perfect choice for a pendant such as this one. The copper wire wrapping is nicely done and the seller kept the wrapping at the top of the pendant. Some sellers' wire wrapping trails down a pendant and looks sloppy, but Hope did a fabulous job and this wrapping looks precise. The ring that is attached in the wrapping is very secure and doesn't wiggle or wobble around. This ring is going to hold in the wrapping for a very long time. I love this pendant and the contradiction between the soft, feminine lily and the hard steampunk attitude is ingenious. Hope also sent me a petal pink calla lily and it is gorgeous! The pink color is consistent in the lily and the sparkly yellow spandix is stunning against the pink petals. The area of the flower where the wire wrapping is attached is a lovely green. This lily is also petal thin and the wire wrapping is as immaculate as the steampunk version. I love this pendant, too!! I am so glad that Hope didn't make me choose. Hope is a fantastic Etsian and ships her items very quickly. I own several pieces that Hope has created and I am in awe of her talent and the care that she takes with each piece. This celtic knot necklace is so lovely!! It is a silver in color with black along the embossed edges and the various stempunk designs on it. There are gears, screws, and a rivet looking band on the heart. The heart is attached to a black cord that closes with a spring ring clasp. The workmanship is wonderful!! The heart is perfectly formed and someone looking at it is going to be able to tell that it is a heart without any problem. It is smooth except fot the raised edges of the embossing. The cotton cord is looped around the upper two parts of the heart and brass wire is wrapped to hold it in place and then there is silver wire wrapping at the ends where the brass spring ring is attached. The wire wrapping is nicely done and smooth. I hope that when I wear this beautifully buffed heart I glow as much as it does! Great Etsian and fast shipping. I am a repeat buyer of this seller. This guy is outtasight!!! He is tough and charming at the same time. He is dark green in color and his tail is covered by plating. He has spikes on his back and red jasper eyes. He is assorted gears on his legs and tail. He thinks that he is intimidating, but I think that he is cute and cuddly!! Don't tell him that!! The workmanship is fantastic!!! He is perfectly formed from the tip of his tail to the tip of his nose including the spikes and zygodactyle feet. He is no lightweight, but has a good, solid heaviness to him. And the ring is very sturdy so that it will hold him while suspended on a chain. The choice of colors is awesome!! From the green of the body to the gray of the plating to the gold spikes and accents, he is one sharp dressed chameleon. I LOVE this guy!!! Fabulous Etsian and fast shipping. Thanks so much!!
