Amanda Weiss started Three Bad Seeds in 2009 when designing + handcrafting animal pillows from wool sweaters with her young daughter. During a cross county move, she was inspired by western landscapes to create her original mountain pillows. Amanda uses heirloom quality Pendleton wool to produce sculptural cushions in all shapes + sizes, as well as landscape pillows. She and her woodworker husband split their time between the Mojave Desert and Puget Sound. When not in the workshop, they are out exploring all the wild places in between.
