Our story starts like many people who get into the organic/natural movement. We were sick and tired of being sick and tired. We were overworked and overstressed. Everything was sluggish; our skin was spotted with dry patches, our energy was low. For me (Vanessa) it started with lots of research that led to jump full force into a healthy, mostly vegan lifestyle using only 100% natural products. Within DAYS, stubborn acne that even a clarisonic and expensive imported skin care products couldn't make a dent in for *years* began to clear up! Within weeks, all dry patches would vanish. 30 lbs swiftly melted off. There was no looking back, the results were fast and evident.

I would go on to become a trained raw vegan chef, holistic lifestyle teacher/writer/coach and certified clinical herbalist and aromatherapist. My mom, Connie, joined me on the herbalist training journey. We thought we were knowledgeable when we started- we had no idea how deep the rabbit hole of healing could go. We knew we had to share the healing secrets with the world and help others who were in the same predicament with our organic products.

Body & Soul is a local family business and passion project. We put the research into making simple, healing plant products that really work.
