You might think that a flat board with holes drilled in it would be a simple thing to make and you would be right. But what you can't tell just from looking at this loading block in the picture is that the holes are perfectly placed and the finish is beautiful with nice rounded edges everywhere. This is a classy piece that looks swell on the bench. Very nicely made and cheaper than a commercial hunk of plastic. (I'm looking at you Hornaday) Thanks to Tim.

Excellent product with quick and gracious seller response! Who knew there could be user-error with something so simple? Side of rod installed on matters. If it doesn't fit on one side, flip it to the other side. Brilliantly simple and effective!

What an excellent hand-made, wooden cartridge box in the style of the original! I'm really impressed by the quality, craftsmanship, and quick shipping.
