After I got engaged and started looking for my wedding dress, I found myself extremely discouraged--everything in my price range was completely outside of my personal style. i found nothing that jumped out at me, nothing that satisfied my expectations, until a good friend recommended that I check out etsy for inspiration, if not the perfect dress. I found both, in Val's shop. Her talent is sound, her attention to detail is remarkable, her craft is just completely breathtaking. Her Cecille dress is dreamy, incredibly soft and flowy, and from over a thousand miles from where I live, never seeing each other in person, Val could not have made it to fit me any more perfectly than it does. I couldn't believe it when I tried it on. It won't need a single alteration! I am very grateful to Val, and feeling very self-assured for going with my gut. I advise that you do the same; there's no better work out there for such reasonable prices and the peace of mind that you get from this woman is so important during an engagement. THANK YOU VAL! After a long a fruitless search for the perfect wedding dress, I am so happy I found this dress on Etsy and so appreciative of Val to make it. Val did an amazing job of taking my measurements and making a dress fit so great and the length so perfect. I'm from Melbourne, Australia and the email communication was great from Val to get this dress turned out so quickly. I'm delighted with this dress and I can't wait to wear it on my 'big day'! HOW did you do it? How on earth did you make a gown that fits me so WELL? Zero alterations needed, and we have never even met! I can barely breathe, I just got the dress and it exceeds every wild dream I had in mind when picturing my wedding dress. The custom color is PERFECT, the fit and shape are PERFECT, I am amazed at the stitch wizardry going on. What you receive for the price from Upoppy is unbelievable. She has been more than sweet, accomodating, and EXCITED about making my one of a kind version of this dress, and man, did she nail it. I could keep on rambling about all of it, but the quality of the dress and the whole experience merits it. I wish I could have all my clothes custom-made by her now! If you are reading feedback to help you make your decision whether or not to order a dress from her, I'm going to advise you to DO IT, you will pat yourself on the back later as you stand before the mirror, feeling exactly how you want to feel in your dress.
