Loads of knitting patterns around and not many crochet. This is well written, easy to follow and will definitely be buying more patterns

Not only perfectly handmade . I got a personalized packaging and a little present for free😍 It's evident that she does it for her own pleasure , as the price I paid is not comparable with the time she certainly used to make it. Thanks a lot ❤️❤️❤️

If I stay there will be trebles; if I go it will be doubles ...

I’m Victoria (that’s me in the picture!) I mostly crochet but also knit avidly and love loads of other arts and crafts when there's time. I grew up in Sandhurst in the UK and travelled around a bit settling back not far away in Reading to raise my children. I am a once and future English teacher and frustrated creative who descends from a fine crochet heritage having learnt from my mum, who learnt from her grandma ... etc

It is very important to mention my mum Lynn. We work together and, although she is a ‘volunteer’ (ahem!), she is absolutely integral to the success of our little crochet business. She is amazingly talented and creative and is also the common sense, strength and stability in everything we do. We have about 100 years of crocheting experience between us. Wow!

What I enjoy most about crochet is its diversity. From loo-roll covers to amazing fibre art through beautiful fluffy scarves and breath-taking lace. My motto is “Anything and Everything Crochet” and I love a new challenge.

Mum and I are best known for our quirky book covers and key rings, for our colourful animals and for our complex and gorgeous, unusual Freeform Crochet but our designs are eclectic, varied and manifold. But just don’t ask us about our crochet. You’ll never stop us talking 

We are so glad to welcome you to our quirky little shop. My name is Victoria and I share my crochet world with my mum, Lynn, who taught me everything I know.
We both crochet for fun ... and beyond :-) Our motto is "Anything and Everything Crochet" reflecting both our eclectic range of items from amigurumi to afghans and our love of a crochet challenge - we are at our happiest when commissioned to make something more unusual!
You will find many of our finished pieces are one-of-a-kind or limited edition so you can always grab yourself a unique gift or an unusual self-indulgence.
We also like to spread the crochet love, so we often publish the patterns for our makes in the hope that loads of other people will enjoy making them as much as we do.

UK deliveries: All deliveries are sent Royal Mail 2nd Class signed for unless the customer requests 1st class or special delivery for a rushed order. The customer is responsible for the postage costs unless specifically stated otherwise in the items listing.

Overseas deliveries: We use the Royal Mail/British Post Office to ship our items and we will always send items using a 'tracked' service. Because overseas postage can be expensive if you would like us to use another option we can arrange this but please contact us BEFORE you place your order. We will then give you a clear price for postage both with and without tracking before you make your final decision. If you choose to take a ‘without tracking’ option you should be aware that we will be less likely to recover items lost in transit.

Digital items can be downloaded instantly after payment.
'Ready to send' items will be dispatched 3-5 working days (or sooner) after payment.
Private commissions, customised items, one-of-a-kind designs and personalised items will be made to order after payment. They may take some time to make and will be added to our order book after all current orders. They will be dispatched 3-5 working days (or sooner) after they have been completed.

Items lost or damaged in transit: An item will be considered 'lost in transit' once you have informed us it is undelivered and STC have confirmation from Royal Mail Tracking that they have failed to deliver the item. STC will always do our best to replace any items that might be lost or damaged in transit. In the case of ‘One of a kind’ items and ‘customized orders’ that are impossible to recreate this will, obviously, not be possible. If this occurs, we will offer you the choice of credit, a refund or another item of the same value. Goods damaged in transit must be returned to STC before a refund will be made. STC will refund the postage costs for the return of damaged goods.

Please be aware all of our items are individually hand-crafted and take time to make. Although, we post them as soon as possible after they are finished, the project itself may take many, many hours. It will be worth the wait but if you would like an update on progress at anytime feel free to contact us.

If you have a specific, important deadline please let us know BEFORE BUYING. If we cannot make your schedule we will let you know so you can choose not to order.

If you live outside the UK, you will need to ensure you make arrangements for any import duties/ customs procedures etc relevant to your own country's legal requirements.
Refunds and Exchanges

When you buy goods from a business, in law you have a number of rights as a consumer. These include the right to claim a refund, replacement, repair and/or compensation where the goods are agreed to be faulty or mis-described.
In addition to your legal rights, we also allow you to return goods if you simply change your mind. Please return the unused goods in perfect condition and well packaged to STC (message us for the address). The customer will be responsible for the cost of postage but the full price of the item(s) ordered will be returned after STC receive the goods.
The exception to this policy is in the case of one-of-a-kind, customised and personalised items. Unfortunately, we cannot offer a cancellation or refund once we have started these makes so please CHECK ALL DETAILS VERY CAREFULLY and if you are unsure we have it right PLEASE CONTACT TO ASK ANY QUESTIONS. We are always happy to help.

We want our designs to go to the right home so, if you are dis-satisfied with your purchase in any way please let us know.
Additional policies and FAQs
Materials and safety

If we are making an item to your specifications we will discuss your preferences for materials but STC will have the final decision about the appropriate materials for each project.

In the case of customised items it is the customer’s responsibility to inform STC of any particular materials they would like to be avoided. For example, in the case of allergy to wool or the need for an easy to wash fabric.
Any item made to customer specifications is considered a customised item (see refund and delivery policies).

Toys will always be made from acrylic yarn or cotton chosen by STC to conform to safety standards. All playthings are safety tested and marked appropriately.

Contact us at anytime for custom orders.

We supply wholesale on our smaller items. Please contact us for details and terms.
