About vilte
Fiber Poetry
Lithuanian brand Vilte, has been experimenting with felting techniques since 2006, and specializing in innovative and modern felting realized through a wide variety of all natural materials. Vilte Kazlauskaite is the name of the artist, and Vilte the name of the line, which in a fateful linguistic turn of destiny, is also the Dutch word for felt, well almost, its “vilt” (without the e) actually.
Revealing the broad versatility of felt, Vilte creates air, light, sensual and sophisticated designs through nuno felting and a combination of various materials, from softest alpaca, fine Australian merino wool, hand-spun Indian silks, gauze and silk chiffon. Each one of the diaphanous and multi-textured wearable art pieces are unique and one of a kind. Natural plants and flowers form the base of the naturally dyed materials, adding another layer to the uniqueness of the work, with no two print, pattern or dyes exactly the same as another.
Styling ranges from thick, fiber rich cocooning kimonos, to sheer, revealing, diaphanous evening pieces, each one is completely handmade using only water, sustainable and renewable materials and green soap. Vilte’s designs have a sense of poetry and whimsy to them, communicated entirely through their subtle, complex, textured and layered use of fiber and fabric. Entirely seamless, pieces are formed and molded by hand without the need for seaming or darts. A master crafts person, Vilte designs are more than exquisite examples of artisanship, they are beautiful, timeless wearable pieces of art that are as contemporary as they are unique.

Shop policies
Accepted payment methods
Returns and exchanges
The refund would be issued by Paypal, but please note that if there are not enough funds in my Paypal account at a time, you will be asked to wait for your refund until I get some income to my Paypal account as Paypal doesn't withdraw money for refunds from bank accounts in Lithuania.
Please note that items purchased in split payments and discounted items can not be returned unless agreed otherwise beforehand.
Please understand that I can not be held responsible for delays in post work or lost parcels. But I tend to cooperate with the buyer and find a best sollution for any problem that appears.
If your item is lost in transit, I would offer you store credit, but only after I get the confirmation from the post that the parcel is really lost. It takes 30-90 days to get such confirmation.
Payment
If you would like to pay in several times, please contact me beforehand for splitting the payment. Maximum term for payment is up to 3 months. Please note that items purchased in split payments can not be returned.
Paypal payments are accepted. You can pay by your credit card as well if you don't have Paypal account. (The instructions can be found here http://www.etsy.com/storque/how-to/how-to-pay-with-a-credit-card-and-create-a-paypal-account-746/ ).
If you reside in European Union, you can also pay by bank transfer. If you reside in Russia, you can use Contact or Unistream transfers as well.
Your purchase is shipped when the payment is received and withdrawn to the bank account. I will let you know about the plans of shipping your item or you should receive an automatic message from Paypal with your tracking number after the item is shipped (usually in 3 business days after purchase).
Shipping
Shipping usually takes 5-28 days, depending on your location. Please be patient as it usually depends on the work of customs (there might be delays because of bad weather, slow customs works, changed policies, high security at the Customs, etc). The parcel is considered as delayed only when it is not delivered to you in 30 days. Then I can fill in the complaint about the delayed parcel at the post office (see refunds and exchanges section).
Please note that I will always ship to the address given by Etsy. If you want me to ship to a different address, please indicate this in your Message to Seller. I am not responsible for packages that are undelivered because the address given by the buyer through Etsy is inaccurate.
Any customs duties and taxes if any are the buyer's responsibility.
