With my son bobbing in my arms dancing through the apartment, I really wanted something appealing bilingual for the walls. Something that additionally motivated to stay with the bilingual education.
Especially posters and other prints are often available in the classical languages but not in Serbo-Croatian, Farsi, Tamazight or Catalan. And far too often you still have to struggle with many prejudices when you raise your child in a non-prestige language. It's beautiful when you talk to your children in the language that is emotionally close to you. Enjoy it and have joy.
I created all illustrations/animal figures myself. With the help of umpteen tutorials and assistance.
Due to the absolutely outstanding support in the crowdfunding campaign, the launch of VILUBEE was possible at all.
Mit meinem Sohn auf dem Arm wippend durch die Wohnung tänzelnd wollte ich unbedingt irgendwas ansprechendes zweisprachiges für die Wände. Irgendwas was zusätzlich motivierte dran zu bleiben bei der bilingualen Erziehung.
Gerade Poster und weitere Prints gibt es oft in den klassischen Sprachen aber nicht in Serbo-Kroatisch, Farsi, Tamazight oder auch Katalanisch. Und viel zu oft hat man noch mit vielen Vorurteilen zu kämpfen, wenn man sein Kind in einer nicht-prestige Sprache erzieht. Es ist wunderschön, wenn man mit seinen Kindern in der Sprache spricht, die einem emotional nah ist. Genießt es und habt Freude.
Alle Illustrationen/Tier Figuren habe ich selbst erstellt. Mit der Hilfe von zig Tutorials und Hilfestellungen.
