Gold prices have gotten so high that I keep having to adjust my prices to reflect these changes. If you see my prices on made to order gold jewelry going up- this is why and I'm sorry! Violetfly: delicate handmade jewelry by Katie Poore

There are an infinite amount of tiny delicate details in this world that go unnoticed each day. If you zero in on them as you move through life, you realize that beauty is everywhere. My work is inspired by these small beautiful details and their place in the natural world. I use very tiny natural stones and thin precious metal wires to create delicate wearable works of art.

I graduated from Maryland Institute College of Art with a BFA in printmaking. After college I spent years working, learning and teaching in the jewelry making community in Baltimore MD, until launching my own design studio in 2012. Since then Violetfly has made 1000s of sales on Etsy and other online venues and been featured in brick and mortar shops all over the world. Im so grateful to be part of such an exciting marketplace, and to be able to reach so many wonderful people from all over the place with my designs. Today I work and sell out of my studio in the lovely green mountains of Vermont, where I am raising my precious son and striving to see and create those beautiful details wherever I go in life.
