Growing up surrounded by the textures and colors of traditional textiles, I developed a deep appreciation for the art of rug making early on. I founded Wahid Rugs with a mission to share this artistry with the world.
Our story began with a simple vision: to bridge the gap between centuries-old weaving traditions and modern living spaces. We do not just sell rugs; we curate atmosphere. Each piece in our collection is hand-knotted by skilled artisans who have inherited their techniques through generations.
My role is to oversee the design and creation process, ensuring that every rug meets our high standards of durability and beauty. I work directly with our weavers to blend classic motifs with contemporary palettes, creating pieces that fit perfectly into today’s eclectic and modern homes.
