Whimsical Hair Accessories

Be Sure to Wear Flowers in your Hair

One evening, in a tinkering mood, I made a small ring with floral wire, glued some flowers on it, and thought it a good size to decorate a hair bun. I put some flowers on it and said to my friend, "Would you wear that?" To my surprise, she emphatically said "Yes." The Bun Belt was born.

Sit down at the typewriter and the story will flow. Pick up the paintbrush and the painting will emerge. Pluck at the piano and eventually you'll have a song. Don't wait for the perfect ideas to arrive. Create. Do. Make. Without the intention of starting a business, a night of creativity with a friend sparked an idea that has led to Whimsy Do.

The potential for what Bun Belts could become percolated in my brain all evening. I went home that night and told my husband about my new idea. He loved it. I loved it. The next day I joined the Etsy community and Whimsy Do blossomed.
