Announcement
🖤I will be taking a break from commissions starting in January🖤
Any in-progress work (ie- anything that has been paid for already) will be completed as soon as possible.
↟↟Welcome!↟↟
All prints, stickers, buttons, coloring books, & calendars have a processing time of 3-5 days at the moment. Shoot me a message if you have any questions!
While I love to create custom paintings, I am currently not accepting any new commissions. If you’d like to be added to the waitlist, feel free to message me, but I have no estimation for when I’ll be taking on new custom work.

5 out of 5 starsAs always, beautiful work and flawless delivery. I get this calendar every year, this time I added on some additional items to the pre-order. Let W&R know she could wait and ship them together. Both items showed up as soon as the calendar was released, and shortly before the new year. Love this artist!!

Willow & Roxas
✨Hello!✨
My name’s Sarah and I run my own small art business called Willow & Roxas! I live in NE Ohio with my husband, my two dogs, cat, and ball python. I create mostly with ink & watercolor and my favorite subject is anything witchy. I have been creating art for my whole life, worked with tons of different mediums and styles, and got my Bachelor’s in Fine Arts in 2016. In 2017 I went full time with my business on Etsy and it’s been such a wild ride. I’ve loved showing my art to others and seeing them enjoy what I put my heart and soul into.

Frequently asked questions
How do I order a custom painting & how does the process work?
Message or email me! Right now I set up custom paintings exclusively in PMs so that I can do specific requests and give accurate price quotes.
I always provide a preliminary sketch before I work on the painting. I ALWAYS send a photo of the finished painting before it ships. I can also provide scans/hi-res photos UPON REQUEST. After I show you the final preview, you can do 1-2 rounds of changes if you need something fixed. 3 or more changes may be extra. I want to make sure you love your painting, so if I need change something, let me know!
All watercolor paintings are done on flat acid free cold press watercolor paper and acrylic paintings are done on stretched canvas. I don’t do framing because of the shipping.
Can I do a deposit for a custom painting or do I have to pay 100% up front?
For custom orders over $100, you may choose to pay 50% of the total for your painting instead of the full amount. Then you can pay the rest of what is due when you approve of the final preview. I will only ship your painting once you balance is paid in full.
How long does a custom painting take?
It varies per order and on how busy my schedule is. I can normally complete a painting within 3-5 weeks. It might take a couple days longer because all the custom work is done exclusively by me. If you’d like a painting for a certain date, please contact me first before placing the order to make sure it’s possible. When working from a waitlist, I cannot guarantee need-by dates.
How does shipping work?
I ship every order through USPS from Ohio, USA. I package watercolor paintings & prints with a plastic sleeve and backing board in a rigid mailer. I package canvas paintings with foam core and bubble wrap in a cardboard box. Paper art larger than 11x14 will be rolled and shipped in a tube. Any order of just stickers is shipped via letter mail and does not include tracking.
I don’t have any control over the postal system. Sometimes packages get delayed for unknown reasons that I am not responsible for. But I will try my best to help you find your order and get it to you as fast as possible.
Some countries that I ship to do not include tracking with first class. I am also not responsible for any extra fees due to customs.
Will you post my custom painting on social media?
I post some of my favorite pieces on Instagram, Reddit, and Facebook. I normally wait until 2 weeks after a painting is delivered to post just in case it’s a gift. If you don’t want yours posted, just let me know.
How do I send you photos and details for a custom painting?
You can send information to customize your order through an Etsy conversation. For photos, you can attach them in the conversation or send them through Imgur, Dropbox, Google Drive, or email. Any way I can see the photos works! My email is willowandroxas@gmail.com
Can I cancel my order and get a refund?
You can cancel an order and receive a full refund within 3 days of purchase. I do not accept returns or exchanges of any kind. If you have any special circumstances, please message me.
If I don't receive any photos from you by the day your custom painting is up for me to work on, your order will be put on hiatus. I won't work on your order until you contact me. If a significant amount of time has passed where I've had no contact from you, I will process your order as complete and no refund will be given. If you reach out to me later to continue the project, the balance from the previous will be taken into account.
