Hi! Thank you for taking the time to read a little bit about me! Having a passion and curiosity for the great outdoors at an early age, I have always been fascinated by nature and all it has to offer. I had the desire and attraction to work in wood and after receiving several awards, knew this was something I wanted to pursue. After a long successful career as a professional wood refinisher and restoration artist, always knew that the creative side of me wanted more. I am happy to say that I have evolved into a very unique type of wood artist by creating one-of-a-kind functional and useful works of wood art. All of my work is done 100% by me, from collecting wood to the final meticulously finished product. I believe in reclaiming trees and materials and do not cut anything green. My work has a very wide palette creating everything from rustic mirrors, wall art to all handmade vases and urns. Unlike conventional wood turning, my work is done from a lengthy process of hand cutting and segmenting multiple rings of wood, which are laminated, hand sanded and finished. I pride myself to create all natural art by not utilizing stains or colorants in my work. Every piece is finished to a very fine furniture quality. I have recently expanded into the creative world of working with metallic resins and vibrant colors. This includes a series of seascapes, sunsets and the popular 'tree of Life".
