4 out of 5 starsBeautiful pattern but involves many many many colors, even the version with 30 colors is a lot for this pattern. Lots of shading, have to start and stop frequently because there would be one stitch here in a certain color, then another stitch very far away

5 out of 5 starsThis is a beautiful image. I bought the pattern to stitch for my grandma for Christmas. I used 14 Aida and 4 strands per stitch (2 strands, doubled over) to get good coverage. I’m very pleased with how it’s turning out. I even went to Goodwill and got a frame for it. There are a couple of things to look out for when doing this pattern: 1) Some of the symbols are very similar, like the difference between ⬆️⬇️, and it’s harder to tell when they’re intermixed around each other, so pay close attention. 2) The size of the symbols isn’t consistent throughout the pattern, especially compared to the right wing. Again, make sure you go over the area thoroughly when deciding if you’ve finished a color. 3) The pattern is 4 pages and each page does not necessarily begin or end at the 10th increment (0, 10, 20, etc.).

5 out of 5 starsI love it. Love the cardinals. I will be making it for my pastors wife. She loves them as well. Glad that I found this cross stitch to make. She will love like I do. It will be fun to make. Thank you for selling and I thank the designer too for making the design.

My Eye for Design
I have been a long-time graphic and photography geek. In the late 60s I was the proud recipient of a first place ribbon at the local and state fair for my photography of a giraffe. My camera was a Brownie, and I was off and running.
My first poem was published when I was nine, and I have not put a pen or camera down since. Between the ribbon and the McCall's magazine print, I knew I wanted to write and take photos. That is what I have done over the years. I love to travel, and since they invented the data card, I take hundreds of photos wherever I go. My camera of choice now is a Nikon, and I use my laptop to write.
I freelance for several publications and have a column in a polymer clay magazine.
I am a member of The Artisan Group, which provides gifts for celebrities and press members through gifting suites. I have participated in the Primetime Emmys, the New York Fashion Week, have gifted to stylists for consideration in upcoming episodes of The Voice, Hart of DIxie and 2 Broke Girls. I am a product sponsor for the 2014 Queen of the Universe pageant, and I have provided earrings to the Joyful Child Foundation for the safety of exploited children.
My first computer in 1995 captured my love of graphics as soon as I discovered PAINT. It only took a month of that to make the move to Photoshop. I use a Wacom tablet, my mouse, and whatever else I can to draw and design. Often enough, you will find me with a thousand Prismacolor pencils and an open sketch book.
I worked as a beta tester for Paintshop Pro when it started and continued until Corel bought it. My PSP graphic site is huge and a resource for those working in PSP. www.ladysara.org. For almost 20 years, I have been creating design elements, including fonts for graphic arts.
My hundreds and hundreds of photos and digital art have been the basis for my patterns both in cross stitch and beading. I have my beading patterns over in my polymerclaybeads shop.
I am fortunate enough to travel from beach to mountain and back again with my camera, so there are always at least one design that is worth printing. My work is also printed through Zazzle. Some of my counted cross stitch designs have delighted me enough to create entire matching kitchen sets.
The patterns will keep coming, because as we say at my parent company, Blue Morning Expressions, the creativity never stops.....
