5 out of 5 starsI recommend you have some sewing knowledge before using this pattern. And although you can make this jacket without the lining, there are no finishing instructions if you choose to do that It also has a "button extension" but no buttonhole placement instructions. So if you're a beginner, you'll need further help. Printing the pattern on thin paper would be helpful as you will need to match it up and tape it together. After printing and taping, I cut the pattern to my size which helped with placement on the fabric. (I used an old quilt that had a lot of shabby areas I needed to work around.) This is the first time I've used a digital pattern and truthfully, the "old-fashioned" tissue paper patterns are much more detailed and easier to follow. I've been sewing for 40+ years but still read and follow pattern directions. :)
