The simplicity of geometric design.
“Live an inspired life” is my personal motto and one I have used in creating my shop, Zigzag Studio. Everything starts from a thought. I look at each day as an opportunity for new thoughts, ideas and creative inspiration. My collection of pillows and poufs is inspired by our surroundings and my own curiosity.
My business started with a passion to share my artistic ideas through hand made products from carefully chosen materials (all made in the U. S.), original design and attention to detail.
In the spring of 2011 my Etsy storefront, www.zigzagstudiodesign.com, was launched. My pillows and poufs were featured on the Fox 5 TV show “Laura Likes” and “Good Day DC”. West Elm in Washington D.C. also chose my products for display in a pop-up-shop. These incredible opportunities have allowed me to continually introduce new collections. Each collection is limited, so my customers can be assured that Zigzag Studio pillows and poufs will bring character and originality to their homes.
My daily life is one of a busy mom and wife. Our two active boys bring my husband and I much happiness and joy watching them achieve in school and participate in many activities. Besides my main priority of spending time with my husband and boys, I enjoy hobbies of reading, traveling, visiting art museums, and listening to music.
I am thankful for my supportive customers who have patronized my small handcrafted shop. Seeing my design come to life from scratch and displayed in homes brings me great satisfaction and encourages me to continue to “live an inspired life”.
