Lovely triple nesting box for hedge sparrows and other small birds.

The box is handcrafted from 15mm FSC solid wood that is sourced from our local saw mill in Bath, and is used in its natural state. The wood is both weather tolerant and durable without the need for chemical treatments.

The lid is held securely shut with 2 screws, these can be undone to open the roof and clean the house at the end of the breeding season.

The house measures 45cm wide x 19cm high x 17cm deep.

For Sparrows, the box should be sited between 3 metres and 6 metres high, and face between North and South East. It can be sited under the eaves of a house but not near an area where there are nesting House Martins.

These quality houses are individually hand made and hand decorated, the natural grain of the wood enhances their appearance.
