Typewriter Lyubava 1986 Cyrillic Russ Mechanical License Robotron Germany Working Order Model PP-215-01

My mother printed her dissertation on it on the upcoming problems associated with climate change on the planet and successfully defended it, becoming a candidate of science (PhD).

The printing tape is slightly dry, which is visible on the sheet of paper, but I have already ordered a new and fresh printing tape, which will be included in the parcel when sending to the buyer.

I ask you to carefully look at the photo, completeness, make sure that the device is in excellent external condition. Its mechanical part is also in excellent working order. Nothing needs to be done with it. I bought it - received it by mail - sat down to print.

It can be a wonderful interior decoration, decorating a living room, a smoking room, a place by the fireplace. In short, if a person has talent and taste, creativity and a desire to recreate history in objects that were once everyday and thanks to which science, journalism and printing developed, he will do it easily and naturally.

General information

The Lyubava typewriter was produced for fifteen years in the USSR, and then in Russia, in two modifications that differ in carriage length - PP-215-01 (printed line length 215 mm) and PP-305-01 (printed line length 305 mm). mm).

The production of the Lyubava typewriter began in the USSR in 1983 under the license of the Robotron enterprise (Germany). Machines "Lyubava" were produced at the Ryazan plant of calculating and analytical machines.

In fact, the Soviet Lyubava is a licensed copy of the portable Erika (Erika 105/127), produced in the Germany by the Robotron Combine (VEB Kombinat Robotron) and exported to the USSR.

In Soviet times, "Lyubava" was one of the most common and affordable portable typewriters. The price of Lyubava, for example, was 180 (model PP-215-01) and 190 (model PP-305-01) Soviet rubles, and the price of Erika was from 280 to 320 Soviet rubles (depending on the model).

The Lyubava typewriter, as a clone of Erika, was the most affordable, was produced until the early 2000s, and therefore remains the most common .

I will pack it carefully, line the walls of the cardboard box with foam, and it will arrive unharmed and in the same excellent condition.
