Canvas floater frames are the ideal frame for your pre stretched canvas pictures or artwork. The 5mm shadow gap allows for the entire image to be on show, making this the perfect choice for your canvas. While it may be nothing more than an optical illusion, don't underestimate the eye catching effect that a floater frame can have.

You will need to make sure that you have read the information regarding the internal and external sizes for you floater frame to ensure you are ordering what is correct for your canvas and what is provided to help fit your artwork. Below you will find information on our returns policy.



Our Canvas floater frames are made for standard size canvas pictures and artwork. It is very IMPORTANT that you measure the external size of your canvas from the front. And then select this size in the dropdown section. You will need to make sure you check your measurements are correct as some canvases are stretched to imperial sizes (Inches) and some are metric sizes. For example you may buy a 50cm x 40 cm canvas or you buy a 20 x 16 inches canvas. Both similar in size but the floater frame you choose will matter and will mean you canvas will not have the desired floating appearance.



Every frame we make will be made slightly larger than the size you select. This is because we add the shadow gap to your selected size. For example if your canvas floater frame measured 50cm x 40cm this is the dropdown option you would order. We would then manufacture the canvas floater frame with the internal measurement of 51cm x 41cm. This will allow for the 5mm shadow gap all the way round your canvas.



This frame is part of our stained floater frame range. We have six different colours for you to choose from. All with an internal depth of 25mm and an external depth of 34mm. This canvas floater frame is suitable for canvases with a depth of 25mm or less. Ideally you do not want it sticking out the front of the tray area too much which is why we suggest these are not suitable if the depth is larger than 25mm.



These canvas floater frames will be provided with hook and loop self adhesive pads, 4 x pieces of foamboard to place in whilst fitting your canvas to help you make sure that you fit your canvas into the canvas floater frame straight, and finally the suitable hanging fixtures for you to attach to allow you to hang your canvas on the wall. As well as a fitting guide to help you through the process. I WOULD STRONGLY advise also screwing your artwork into the frame, especially if your artwork is above the size 60cm x 50cm or 24" x 20' as although the velcro hook and loops adhesives are always strong and plenty are provided, nothing will beat screwing your artwork in place.


RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
All of our frames listed on Etsy are made to order canvas floater frames once the order has been placed. For this reason we are UNABLE to accept returns on items that have been placed correctly for your order. Please read all of the information regarding the canvas floater frames BEFORE placing the order to make sure what you are ordering is going to be correct.



DAMAGE
It is important to remember a picture frame can be delicate, and damage can be caused with relative ease. Please ensure you check any goods for damage before they are used. Unfortunately we will not accept responsibility for obvious damage that is reported after the item has been used as the damage may have been caused by misuse. If your frame is damaged please report this to us within 48 hours of receiving your frame. We will require photographic evidence of the damage, to the frame, box the item came in and the label. We will then be able to sort the issue for you and will allow us to contact the courier regarding the damaged item.
