Hand coated Cyanotype paper to expose imagery using the UV from the Sun or an exposure lamp. I prepare your items in the same way I create my own for my artwork. You can expect rich Blue monochromatic prints. This kit is suitable for all ages and you can create complicated or simple designs.

I include a gift pack of botanical leaf and flower items that are perfect to get you started creating botanical designs. Every kit contains a complementary bookmark for you to expose with your preferred items. Take a look at our photos to see what you could create. I have processed this Cyanotype paper by hand and ensure strict conditions to protect the sensitized items from UV light from my door to yours. I use re-usable lightproof packaging and detailed instructions are included; as well as hints and tips to get the most from your pack. I include test strips with instructions, this is so that you can test the strength of UV before exposing, thus no wasting your paper.
Tip! If you have a UV nail drying lamp in your household and someone will let you use it, you can get some nice results using these lamps and our kit.

I use 140gsm quality paper, coated on one side. This thickness will avoid warpage when drying. You do not need a perfect cloudless day to expose cyanotype paper, the stronger the UV, the shorter the exposure time.
