You are correct. It is recommended to use a smaller plate. This is what I set out to do was create a small plate. However, in order to produce a high quality product that is food safe and adheres to all FDA regulations, a 10" plate is the only option that I found to be able to meet my strict expectations. None of the materials used in the molding or decoration of your plate contain harmful chemicals. Our products are FDA-compliant for food contact, and the inks we use to decorate our dinnerware products are water-based and non-toxic. I am attaching my name and my professional credentials, a quality, safe product is a must! I have created the design of the plate to allow a larger section for vegetables!
