3️⃣ Create a playlists of your chosen tracks in correct running order. This should not exceed 80 minutes (or 24 minutes, if you have chosen "mini CD").

"What is your background?"

I am a now retired London DJ, mainly specialising in house and it's sub-genres. Over the years, I have grown my collection to cover every category you can think of, and as a Music Producer, my tracks have amassed nearly 700,000 listens on Spotify! Music is, and always will be, my passion. I know what sounds good, and I use my expertise and 20 years experience in the industry to create beautiful, studio quality recordings... and I have loved making mixtapes since I was a kid!


"How do you want me to send my playlist?"

Apple, Spotify or YouTube links (make them public so I can view them) or the good old fashion write them down. If you do write them down manually, please remember to include any special versions of the track, for example; Snap - Rhythm Is A Dancer (12" mix) or Taylor Swift - All Too Well (Taylor's Version).


"Why do you prefer that I send my artwork to your E-mail address?"

Well, put simply, to avoid being overly compressed by Etsy's messaging system. I am happy to receive them by either method, but know that you will yield better results by sending your images to soundscapemixtapes [!at] gmail.com. I also have the ability to upscale your images, if required.


"Can I supply my own CD case artwork design?"

You absolutely can! Choose "Yes - submit my own" in the "Do you wanted custom printed artwork?" drop down box, and send your design in PSD or PDF format to soundscapemixtapes [!at] gmail.com

"What if I don't want any printed artwork?"

That is absolutely fine too! Just select 'No' under 'Do you wanted custom printed artwork?' and choose what kind of case you would like (Standard or Transparent).


"What is the difference between 'Regular', 'Vinyl-style' and 'Mini-CD'?"

I believe in order for you to create your perfect mixtape CD, you are going to need options, and the disc itself is so often overlooked!
- "Regular" is the most common and probably what you had in mind before reading this. 80 minutes of audio with a fully printable face. Perfect.
- "Vinyl-style" is a CD, but looks like a vinyl! Again, it holds 80 minutes of audio, with a fully printable centre. Works just like any regular CD. Yes, a CD and NOT a vinyl. Because it is a CD.
- "Mini-CD" is what it sounds like! A regular CD is 4.7 inches across, whereas a mini CD is 3.15 inches across. It holds 24 minutes of audio, with a fully printable face. They work just like a regular CD, and can be used in players with a tray or top loading mechanism, but they are incompatible with players where you feed ths disc in (like a car CD player).

"What sets you apart?"

Different tracks, especially over different generations, will have different levels of "loudness".
What I will do is go through every single track in your selected playlist, remaster them from an uncompressed source (where possible), and ensure each has the same output as the last. Your playlist will sound natural together, no matter the style of your selected tracks. This takes both time and expertise, and I fairly reflect this in my price.
