A beautiful Japanese porcelain tea set decorated with raised moriage dragon details, gold accents, red brush-style motifs, and a hidden geisha lithophane portrait at the bottom of each teacup. When held to the light, the portrait appears inside the cup — one of the most distinctive and collectible features of Japanese Dragon Ware.

Condition:
Good vintage condition overall, with age-related wear consistent with use and age. There is one chip on the foot/base of one cup and a small chip on the rim of the same cup. There is also one microscopic chip on one plate. Some light wear to the gilding may be present, as expected with vintage porcelain of this age.
