SSP-045: Crammed with quality photographic instructions that will enable even the novice to create this lovely ensemble. You won't be left with a written list of complicated instructions that leave you in despair.
Tailor-made to fit Kaye Wiggs resin dolls. This pattern is specifically for the 43cm Mei Mei body but can be altered slightly to fit MSD (45cm)
***HOW TO FIT TO THE MSD (45CM/18" BODY): print the bodice at 103% and add 1/4" to bottom of the bodice. A lovely customer has sized a dress for her MSD perfectly and was kind enough to share the information.***
Two dresses using the same bodice, with petticoat options. If the dress skirts are a bit daunting, or if you want to make a quicker dress, it's possible to use the simpler skirt linings as the skirts for your dress.
The PDF pattern pieces can be printed out on your computer - instructions for doing that are included. THIS SALE IS NOT FOR A PRINTED PATTERN. It is a digital download in the form of PDF files.
All these garments can be worn with or without leotard and tights underneath - please be aware that LEOTARD AND TIGHTS ARE NOT INCLUDED.
If you’re really struggling to print out your pattern, I offer my customers the option to purchase a hard copy of the pattern - and ONLY the pattern (not the whole tutorial) for just £2.00 plus postage. This offer is only for people who have purchased this tutorial.
Due to high costs of printing ink, I regret I cannot offer a printed version of this whole package.
Your download, after payment, will be in both A4 format AND US Letter format. This way you can choose which format you'd prefer, the European A4, or the US Letter (USL).
Included is: All the pattern pieces and photographic instructions you need for the two versions of the dress, and two matching petticoats.
These can be made up as a ballet outfit, or just used to make a cosy wintertime outfit. The tights and leotard are also very useful to have, if you want to put them under a dolls outfit made from bright or dark fabrics, as they protect the doll from staining.
Please be advised that there are not five different PDF's in the download, only two of each in different sizes, plus the cover PDF.
Contents:

I hand sew all my doll clothes, and while I can’t see a reason why you shouldn’t use a sewing machine to make the garments, please just bear this in mind when you start to sew. Some tiny details will HAVE to be done by hand.

DUE TO HEALTH ISSUES, I DO NOT MAKE DOLL GARMENTS TO ORDER.
You are welcome to use my patterns to make your own doll clothes to sell. HOWEVER - please respect my copyright, and give credit to Raccoon’s Rags on your sale page. For example it’s okay to write “Handmade by myself, using a Raccoon’s Rags pattern” or even “adapted from a Raccoon’s Rags pattern” But not “My own design”.
I always credit other artisans/designers when I use their patterns or adapt them. They did all the hard work and deserve the recognition.
Many thanks and happy sewing.
