"In Search of Gold" is a series that utilizes symbolism to explore issues of self help, vulnerability, and the process of healing.
The abstract gold patterns never quite covering the black, represents the trial and error of seeking a remedy and lies in aesthetic complement to honeycombs which are featured as patterned reminders of experience, leaving behind marks even after they’re gone. The seething irreversibility of various inks is purposefully harnessed to represent circumstances that can stain and transform one’s life.
Ultimately, the series encompasses a transformation into strength and courage.
