Vintage from the 18th century
Materials: wood, shellac varnish

The violin paper label says the following:
Javiotta BRAUN ANTAL
Hangszerkészito (now Hungary)
Temesvár - Belvaros. 1909

and then... on top of that marked of the wood itself
FRIDRICH LORENZ

Professionals from who have had a look at it suspect it is from Bohemia, circa 1790. Originally made by Fridrich Lorenz who are a family of piccolo manufacturers today. And then, later restored by Braun Antal in 1909.

Dark tone, big voice.

Pegs, fingerboard, chin rest are new. Body, and scroll, chin rest clamp are original.
