Beautiful hand-rolled porcelain which is embossed with abstract shapes inspired by my ceramic birds (check these out at www.farahbatool.com). Porcelain clay gives a super white fine finish. Each pendent is unique as its impossible to predict how the glass will melt in the kiln. The pendants are all two tone glass with a hint of grey and coloured glass. The glass crackles as it cools creating a unique highly textured effect which is smooth to the touch.

The pendant is reasonably thin at only a few millimetres thick so will not feel to heavy when wearing. The 18 inch chain sets the pendent at the top of the chest under the collar bone. Longer chains are not advisable as there is a higher risk of damaging the pendent, it is ceramic after all.

These simple elegant pendants are great for daywear but make an eye catching addition to an evening outfit. I love white jewellery, it works well with most outfits and is an essential item in my jewellery box. The glass makes these pendants really eye catching and create a contemporary look.

Care tips
The ceramic pendant is very easy to care for. Simply use a little soap and water to wipe clean. Leave to dry before wearing. I like to use a micro fibre cloth to clean the surface. The sterling silver chain and bail, like all jewellery, would benefit with a polish occasionally using a silver jewellery polish cloth.

Pendent is approximately 30mm x 30mm x 3mm and has a sterling silver pad glued to the rear. The necklace is an 18-inch sterling silver chain with an extender.

Each necklace comes packaged in a white gift box with black insert.
