This is a great looking piece that will definitely fit most sword types. The lack of instructions in the packaging was a little off putting, but it was easy enough to put together. I love the design of this style of sword rack, but wish it was a little deeper, as the two swords I have placed in this stand have scabbards--thus they have trouble sitting nicely on the stand, like I thought they would. Not a hard fix to do at home with a belt sander, but definitely something to keep in mind for those of you with swords with/in scabbards or big bells/basket hilts .
