I'm an equal blend of artist and crafter. Creative and resourceful, I don't let any project intimidate me. If I see something I like, but can't buy it for some reason, I'll find a way to make it - tailoring it for my exacting needs along the way.

This is especially true of my recovery locket. While new in recovery, I wanted to carry my chip with me, as many do, at all times. I simply wasn't able to find anything that didn't scream "LOOK AT ME AND MY CHIP!" This wasn't the exact message I wanted to convey. I wanted this yet-to-be-found-creation to discrete, pretty and versatile. Much trial and error later, I combined a mixture of found objects that worked. My holder had finally been created and I still wear it proudly, changing up the front plates to fit my outfit and mood.

The response to my locket design has been miraculous. So well received, I've created a special teeny note pad to be used for prayers or special thoughts. The note pad takes the place of the recover chip/token and given the locket special meaning for those not in recovery.

The line of lockets is ever evolving. I'm currently working of coverting the pendant to a keychain, brooch and even a cuff. Keep coming back to see what I've got cooking.
