My business was inspired by my son.
I’d longed for a child for many years, and when he was born, I was overwhelmed by the love I felt towards him. I wanted time to slow down so I could cherish every moment we had together.
I always took photos because I was so scared of forgetting his adorable moments and the milestones he reached.
As the months progressed, I’d accumulated thousands of photos, but because motherhood, and life in general, was so fast-paced, I hadn’t found the time to sit and look back at my adorable baby boy. Nor had I shared the really special ones with close family and friends.
Our cherished photos were locked in my phone with no-one to see them.
Father’s Day 2019 was approaching, the first Father’s Day where my partner would experience it as a dad. Having always been a crafter, I knew I wanted to craft something to help make his first Father’s Day extra special. And because my son had ignited a passion in my belly to protect our planet for future generations, I knew I wanted to make something from sustainably sourced materials - this is when my banners were born.
From that day on, I’ve hand-made banners for so many special occasions, people and animals. They bring joy and delight and they make a brilliant talking point at any party or gathering.
And of course, they create the perfect opportunity to share cherished photos that would have otherwise been locked away in a phone for no-one to see.
