Hola, soy Claire, la propietaria / creadora de CD Comfort Designs. Hace aproximadamente un año comencé a tejer principalmente para pasar algún tiempo y como una actividad de atención plena para ayudar con mi salud mental y ansiedad, sufrir con ansiedad puede ser algo realmente difícil de tratar, y una parte clave de la recuperación es encontrar algo que te traiga paz y alegría. Pues una cosa ha llevado a la otra y aquí estoy. Quién sabía que jugar con un poco de lana podría ser tan relajante y divertido, he hecho algunas cosas hermosas de las que estoy súper orgullosa, como mis pequeñas calabazas de punto y algunas cosas no han salido según lo planeado, como la vez que le hice al perro un jersey con un cuello tan grande que cada vez que se movía se convertía en un pequeño número de corte bajo. Solo hay tantos sombreros que puedes hacer para amigos y familiares y cuántos jerséis me dejará apretar el perro sobre él. Así que pensé en compartir parte de mi trabajo con otros entusiastas del tejido y la lana. Puede que mi negocio solo sea pequeño, pero todo lo que vendo me mantiene en marcha en mi viaje de tejido y salud mental.

Hi I'm Claire the owner/creator for CD Comfort Designs. About a year ago I started knitting mainly to pass some time and as a mindfulness activity to help with my mental heath and anxiety, suffering with anxiety can be a really hard thing to deal with, and a key part of recovery is to find something that brings you peace and joy. Well one thing has led to another and here I am. Who knew playing around with some wool could be so relaxing and fun, I've made some beautiful things that I am super proud of like my little knitted pumpkins and some stuff hasn't quite gone to plan like the time I made the dog a jumper with such a large neck that every time he moved it turned into a little low cut number. There are only so many hats you can make for friends and family and how many jumpers the dog will let me squeeze onto him. So I thought I'd share some of my work with other knitting and wool enthusiasts. My business might only be small but everything I sell keeps me going on my knitting and mental heath journey.
