Mine looks exactly as-pictured, I couldn't be happier with it! Installation/setup was very easy and not at all intimidating — the instructions are very clear. Sorry for the potato-quality photo, but the glow is quite bright in-person and lasts for a nice long time each night without fading. I literally can't stop looking at it, I'm genuinely so happy. :)

The history of Create Your Sky dates back to 2009, when its founder decorated his bedroom with a scaled representation of the northern sky with glowing stars. He drew a few templates on paper, cut and attached them to the ceiling, and filled the star positions with little circles made of glowing paper. The result was amazing!

He enjoyed his personal night sky for several years, but after completing his PhD he changed flats and the obvious question came up: “what will I do with my sky when I move out?” He had to find a way to recreate the sky in a much simpler and efficient way. With that, Create Your Sky was born!
