​Knot So Wild pieces are inspired by ethnic and native patterns. Even so, no two pieces are ever truly identical as they are all handmade by Silvia, the creator, and maker behind Knot So Wild.

​These simple yet intricately made everyday items will be sure to add a bit of awe and beauty to your daily routine.

The name of my small handmade business was inspired by a quote that's on one of my T-Shirts - "Born to be a mildling." It is a reference to my introversion, my quiet nature, and slow homebody lifestyle, which in a way is perfect for the pursuit of owning a handmade craft business.

The name also ties in my love of nature and all things natural; from the natural cotton cord to the driftwood I pick up during my wanderings, and even to my packaging which is all made from recyclable materials.

All the products that you see in my shop are made by me, starting with a mere scribble, then a more detailed design, and finishing with the end product. Whilst I do sell my own designs, I am more than happy to make something specific to your vision and needs. Just send me a message!

I want to show up and be fully present when I show up to making your piece. I want to make lots of happy dances in between. I want to pour as much of my love and energy into it as possible. That can only happen if you give me time to do so. Therefore, I only dispatch orders on a Thursday. If you order something 1-3 days before, it won't be dispatched until the following Thursday.

This is my way of honouring my slow creative life and the process of making your piece.

And that same courtesy goes to you too. I want you to take your time when deciding to buy from me. I want that piece to bring you awe and wonder, and brighten up your day. That, and also being a practical piece that you can use in your everyday life or on special occasions.
