Who makes the product?
I create, mix, label, and pack all the products. It took me two years to come up with the different scents and names, so I hope you’ll like my selection. Believe me, I made some pretty stinky ones too - like ginger, dill, and black pepper! Let’s say it was more repellent than an aphrodisiac. Creating everything was fun though!

Why did I start Libellule?
It all started when I thought: why should I buy synthetic perfume and home sprays when I could make my own? After taking a few aromatherapy workshops and essential oil courses, and spending hours reading about what plants have to offer, I decided to launch my own little side hustle. (I still have to work, but that’s okay. I don’t mind because I do fun stuff as well as paying the bills).

How do you make your products?
I put so much effort and love into making my products, including the labels, I try to align them perfectly like those perfect products in the shops.

What I’m trying to achieve?
Once I realised that whatever I sprayed or applied to my skin has a massive impact on my well-being, I refrained from buying beauty products jam-packed with chemicals, as these are being absorbed through my skin.

My philosophy about body and mind:
Our body is our sanctuary and how we treat it will help us live a good life. Feeling virtuous with our bodies and minds brings harmony to ourselves. Whatever we give our body, our body will reflect! From food to personal care. The sooner we realise that we are what we eat, use and think, the quicker we will treat our bodies with respect. The health of our body and mind keeps us alive.

LOVE too is an essential ingredient to a wonderful life, but this magical feeling can only be found within or given by others. You’ll never find love in a jar, but if you do call me!

Why LIBELLULE?
Well, about 5 years ago I started to see Dragonflies. Real ones, designs on people's clothes, and dragonfly jewelry. The first one that really marked me was the most stunning of them all. It was blue and landed on a post box outside a pharmacy in the beautiful south of France. After encountering so many, I decided to look into their spiritual meaning: they symbolise change and transformation. Well, let’s say that five years ago my life was a whole lot different from how it is now! Also, if you are wondering what is the meaning of libellule, it means dragonfly in French.
