The customer contacted the local post office and was informed that "the package was apparently left outside her house or next door." I sent the package on time as a priority registered letter requiring a signature, for which I provided a certificate from electronic system. Despite this, the customer wrote to Etsy claiming I had mis-shipped the package, even though all she had to do was tell the truth and the cost would have been refunded through the Buyer Protection program. For my part, I did my best to help—I guided the customer step-by-step through obtaining a refund from Etsy, yet she still claimed it was entirely my fault, writing nasty things about me to Etsy. It's sad. Especially during the Christmas time. Regardless, I wish her all the best.
