A desire for the simple
Back in 2009-2010 I'd had an urge to create my own soap, so I gave it a go and loved the results. I wanted something that was as natural as could be, with no nasties in it. I sourced fantastic ingredients...organic if possible...and I was off. There’s only so may bars of soap you can use yourself though, so I researched selling it - the journey began.
The bath goodies - salts, bath/body melts, fizzes and scrubs - soon followed. Again, I wanted the ingredients to be natural, with the bare minimum added, but producing amazing results on the body. I love the simplicity of them all.
When I started making the makeup remover pads there were a few others about but they were all made with an overlocker. I didn’t like the edge it produced so I designed mine differently. Years later I have a few different fabric choices, all with organic fabric where available.
I’m passionate about what I do and make, I could talk for hours 😉. I believe that simple is best, and that things should be made to last. I try and use all the fabric scraps to make other bits too...why buy more if I can use up the off-cuts? ☺️
