Card or Artwork?
I've always had a love of creating things, when my children were young I made them hand knitted garments, as they got older and had parties I made detailed novelty cakes and as my daughter progressed in her love of dancing I designed, made and decorated her costumes.
After they grew up I missed the act of designing and creating and took up card making as a hobby, a way to 'chill out' after a day's work and channel my creativity. I started a blog as a way to share my creations with a wider audience and was soon lucky enough to be asked to design for several shops/companies.
I design or have designed for Whimsy Stamps, Paper Smooches, Kraftin' Kimmie, Saturated Canary, La-La Land Crafts, Dies to Die for, and LDRS Creative.
I teach classes and workshops in creative card making techniques when I can find the free time.
This shop was started as a way to share my cards with others and hopefully make a little room in my crafting space!
For me my cards aren't just cards, I design and create each piece individually as I would a piece of art, everything is done by hand including painting the images and I always pay a great deal of attention to detail. It's sometimes hard to part with them, but I love it when somebody leaves me a review and I can see how much they enjoy what I make :)
