The mailbox flag was custom made and shipped out to the customer within 2 days of receiving the order. It's exactly as stated in the listing and the hinge of the flag is simply a metal pin/nail that holds it together so the flag can be pulled out as necessary. I'm not sure of how to simplify the listing to state that fact but thank you for your honest feedback.
