4 out of 5 starsGreat starter templates but needed some minor fine tuning for my 2025 170, particularly at the interface to the front seats / B pillars

Thanks so much, Andrew, for highlighting the minor fine-tuning needed. I’ve revised the file accordingly and re-uploaded the updated version.

Frequently asked questions
Who are these products for?
These products are designed for Sprinter DIY builders who only have basic tools such as a jigsaw or circular saw. They allow you to cut standard 4x8 plywood sheets into precisely shaped panels needed for your build, without requiring CNC machines or advanced workshop equipment.
What material considerations were taken into account in the design?
The design is optimized around standard 4’ x 8’ plywood sheets to maximize material usage. It is carefully laid out to reduce waste, minimize cutting paths, and improve efficiency. This means less offcut material, fewer cuts required, and ultimately saves both time and cost during the build process.
Are these physical paper templates full-scale (1:1)?
Yes. All templates are full-scale (1:1) and can be placed directly onto a standard 4’ x 8’ plywood sheet for tracing and cutting.
Because they are physical paper patterns, some folding or creasing may occur during shipping. Simply flatten the sheets before use to ensure accurate tracing and cutting.
What tools do I need to cut the panels?
A jigsaw is usually enough for most cuts and will work well with the templates. If you also have a circular saw, it can help you make faster and cleaner straight cuts, making the overall process more efficient.
Should I place the template in the van first for basic measurements?
Yes. Every Sprinter build is slightly different due to variations in floor plan, insulation thickness, and materials used. It’s recommended to do a quick fit check inside the van and make simple adjustments if needed. Placing the template in the vehicle also helps you visualize details that are difficult to fully understand from measurements alone, allowing you to better adapt the design to your specific build.
What should I do if I run into uncertainties during my Sprinter build?
You can simply message the shop owner directly. I’m happy to help as much as possible and share guidance based on experience, whether or not you’ve made a purchase.
