Siempre he sido de los que molan con las cosas raras. Mientras todos coleccionaban sellos o piedras normales, a mí me fascinaba lo inquietante, lo que roza el "¿es real?". Empezó hace unos años, cuando trabajaba en un proyecto de utilería personal y me di cuenta de que la mayoría de los ojos de manualidades parecían botones planos de plástico. Sin profundidad, sin vida, sin chispa. (¡No, gracias!)
Pasé meses en mi laboratorio (bueno, es un escritorio con demasiadas botellas y frascos) obsesionada con la claridad de la resina y la superposición de pigmentos. Quería crear un ojo que no se quedara ahí, sino que me devolviera la mirada. Cada pieza que ven aquí está hecha, pintada y pulida a mano por mí. Tienen ese acabado brillante y efecto mojado porque, sinceramente, si no parece que necesite un parpadeo, no he hecho bien mi trabajo.

I’ve always been the guy who finds the "weird stuff" cool. While everyone else was collecting stamps or normal rocks, I was fascinated by the uncanny-- the stuff that sits right on the edge of "wait, is that real?" It started a few years back when I was working on a personal prop project and realized most craft eyes looked like flat, plastic buttons. No depth, no life, no spark. (no thank you!)
I spent months in my lab (okay, it’s a desk with way too many bottles & jars) obsessing over resin clarity and pigment layering. I wanted to create an eye that didn't just sit there, but actually stared back. Every piece you see here is hand-poured, hand-painted, and polished by me. They’ve got that high-gloss, wet-look finish because, honestly, if it doesn’t look like it needs a blink, I haven’t done my job.
