Here at The Handmade Button I’m often asked about custom orders of my handmade fabric buttons. I always do my best to accommodate customers where I can, so please ask.

However, I am limited to the fabrics image scale and what size of button they suit. I do not print, produce or alter the images on the fabric myself, or claim it as my own artwork. The buttons are for your own home use in your knitting, sewing and crafts.

I also can’t always give customers the one design they want as a set of just that one. The fabrics I use are often hard to get, out of print or vintage so if I spilt the sets it leaves others sets incomplete.

The buttons are machine washable at 30 degrees, I recommend using a wash bag for extra protection.

The buttons are fully functional for clothing and crafts, they have a shank with a needle hole.

The buttons require secure attachment by you. Always use with due care, all buttons can be a choking hazard to small children or pets if not used as intended or stitched on securely.

All the buttons I make and sell at The Handmade Button are photographed beside a UK coin in one of the listing photos, this allows you to see the size and scale of each button. They are also listed in millimetres and the sizes should be clear to the customer, but contact me if you have any queries on sizing.

There is one single postage charge per order, if you buy more than one item you only are charged once and no extra. The charge is £1.55, this is the absolute lowest available for UK 2nd Class Royal mail for a large letter, I make no money on Postage or packing. You get a tracking number which is great for peace of mind. I wrap up the buttons beautifully and carefully, I like to think of my lovely customers getting a little present to open each time, even if they bought it for themselves!
