I have been making handmade gifts & decor for my family & friends ever since I can remember but it all changed one day...
After my first baby girl was born in 2015 I had to get creative on ways to make "mommin" a little easier so...
Out popped the "Feedings Schedule"! Of course I had only intended it to be just for my personal use; however my mother-in-law stopped in one day and noticed it. She mentioned that it was so creative and well done. She told me that she had never seen anything like it ever before and that I should sell it! I laughed of course and said, "ya right".
Soon I started to notice that she was correct. My creations were unique and they were always made with the best quality products. Even more importantly, I loved doing it.
So with my loving husbands support, persistence, and excellent management skills I started making various gifts as "tests".
Then with such an overwhelmingly positive response I couldn't ignore my talents anymore, I had to make sure that everyone (not just my family & friends) had access to my beautiful handmade creations.
And so... The Rustee S was born. The name is a representation of my favorite style of decor "rustic". The 2 "ee"s represent the 2 "ee"s in my first name Audree. While the "S" represents my last name.
To honor my late grandfather I began working with wood primarily. I hope to one day be as skilled as he was.
You can always expect the best quality handmade products from The Rustee S. Every customer is considered a family member or close friend and because I have 2 kiddos all my products are built to last. Plus they have to withstand any tornados they might encounter once they are sent to Kansas with my family.
