I'm a self-taught jewellery enthusiast living in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales with my two adorable cats. I've been making wire jewellery for about 8 years now. I've always been interested in arts and crafts since I was a young girl. Some of the hobbies I have tried out include card making, cross stitching, calligraphy, drawing, painting and of course jewellery making!
I adore fantasy stories, so these are often the inspiration behind my designs. Lord of the rings, the Hobbit, the Shadow Hunter chronicles are just some of my favourites!
I want to create pendants and necklaces that will ultimately make people happy. I enjoy seeing the way a persons face lights up when they open a gift and realise that it's handmade and completely unique to them.
When I first began wire wrapping, I used silver plated wire and beads to make rings and bracelets for myself and as gifts for friends. As I researched the different techniques that could be used, and how to wrap a non-drilled stone into place, I gradually moved on to creating pendants. With practice grows confidence; I'm now more comfortable investing in sterling silver to wrap with, as well as copper wire as I love the rosy finish against certain tones of stone.
When it comes to gemstones, the saying "quality over quantity" rings true. I look to source individual gemstones to use in my pendants from reputable sellers here on Etsy as a way to feed back into the community we're apart of.
I hope this has answered any questions you may have about the origins of Two Little Cats and the feelings and desires that go into making these pendants. If you have any further questions, please send me a message! I would love to chat and get to know you :)
Best wishes,
Lauren

Hi! I love coffee, crafts, crystals and cats. I've been making wire jewellery for 8 years now ever since I saw some of the beautiful works my cousin made. The best thing about wire wrapping is there are always new techniques to have fun with!

Most pieces have been oxidised to enhance the detail of the wrapping and are not coated in a protective lacquer.
A gentle polish with a jewellery cloth will bring the shine back to your pieces

A small deposit may be required to cover the cost of materials, all of which can be discussed.
Sizing details
Size of pendants will be included in listing description in both cm and inches. I recommend having a ruler nearby so it is easier to visualise size when considering purchase.
Photos will be included using a 10p piece for scale reference.
Gift wrapping and packaging
Packing is kept to a minimum to avoid excess going to landfill.
You will receive your item in a 100% recycled kraft pendant box on biodegradable twine. This can be replaced with a faux suede cord of a length of your choosing, please include a note when you make a purchase if this is what you would like.
Your item will be posted in a jiffy padded bag. These use a filling of 100% recycled paper fibres between two layers of tough grade paper to provide effective cushioning in transit. These bags are fully recyclable. They are small enough to fit through your letter box.
I am working on offering a sustainable gift wrapping option, please watch this space for an update.
