Hello, my name is Erdal, and I am from Göreme, Cappadocia, Turkey.
I come from a long line of carpet makers. I grew up surrounded by rugs, patterns, textures, and the quiet discipline of craftsmanship. Even today, I find it hard to describe the feeling a rug gives me the touch, the weight, the way it grounds a space. For me, rugs have always had a presence of their own.
I am now married and have three boys who are beginning to ask questions and show curiosity about this craft. Seeing that interest pass to the next generation is something I value deeply. It reminds me that while styles evolve, the respect for quality and design never disappears.
At DekoraRugs, we focus on modern runner rugs inspired by Anatolian heritage but designed for contemporary living. Clean lines, balanced patterns, and thoughtful color palettes define our collections. Each rug is carefully selected for its design, durability, and ability to elevate everyday spaces like hallways, kitchens, and entryways.
While the rugs we offer are modern in style, they are rooted in generations of knowledge. I spend a great deal of time sourcing rugs from trusted makers and workshops across Anatolia, working with communities that still value proper materials, careful construction, and long-lasting quality.
Alongside DekoraRugs, we also operate our sister brands Super10Textiles, Super10Decor, Super10Medicals, and Super10Med Plus, each focused on craftsmanship and function in its own field.
My goal is simple: to share well-designed, modern rugs with people who appreciate subtle detail, honest materials, and timeless design without excess.
