This shop is the result of my interest in graphic design. Its name actually comes from the avant-garde art movement called Dadaism (or Dada). A few years ago, I was doing collage when I stumbled across vinyl and its versatility (there are basically just a few constraints on the types of support this material allows).

As a result, vinyl decal creations can be seen in places you would least expect. I was amazed by the quirkiness this can add to an already creative design. And the diversity is also enormous. People will interpret the message differently, will display the sticker differently and will therefore add even more creativity to it. So I told myself that I had to try and use this new material to get even more "unconventional" than collage would let me - just as Dadaists replicated the techniques of the cubist movement by using collage a lot, but also enriched them with new materials (plastic, metal, etc.).

Secondly, I wanted my vinyl decal designs to be more than displays of my creativity. Dadaism was perceived as anti-art, or how Hugo Ball nicely put it "For us, art is not an end in itself ... but it is an opportunity for the true perception and criticism of the times we live in." This is also the dadastickers vision. Well, without the criticism part.

The dada vinyl concept is about witty messages that make people happy whilst taking a stance. And if you’re up for an impact, be it an environmental message or a free hugs campaign you support, why not share it in a brainy and hip way?
